Did you know that LISTSERV provides an archive feature in the web interface that stores all previous emails sent to an email list? The archives are extremely helpful for new subscribers who want to catch up on previously discussed topics. Using the list archives also helps people cut inbox clutter because they'll be able to access the list's emails using the web interface. Subscribers can also go "No Mail," meaning no inbox messages and strictly interacting through the web interface.

Welcome to Week 1 of the LISTSERV® email communications course!
As there are multiple types of people who interact with LISTSERV lists,
this course is presented in three modules:

As the course progresses, you’ll become familiar with all three of these roles. This week will begin by discussing the ins and outs of mailing lists from the subscriber’s point of view.
For the purposes of this module, a subscriber is anyone who is signed up for an email list. Did you know that LISTSERV email list messages are viewable in a subscriber’s inbox and in the LISTSERV interactive web interface?
This week, you’ll take on the role of a subscriber. You will find out how to subscribe and unsubscribe to a LISTSERV list and how to create, change or reset your LISTSERV password.
